Questions

Why times 52?

Fifty-two weeks is the usual full-year schedule. Unpaid weeks off are not assumed. Use hours per week to shorten the schedule.

Does overtime get multiplied by 52?

Weekly overtime hours do. A one-time Saturday is not every week. Lower the overtime hours if it is occasional.

What is $20 an hour per year?

$41,600 before tax at 40 hours a week. The paycheck page shows the taxes on that wage.

Can I see the same wage in another state?

Change the state here, or use Compare for two states at once.
